I know I have reblogged a lot of autism stuff lately, but it is such a relief to finally find words that could be mine.

  1. I’m so glad that you’ve been able to find some support through these other blogs. I wonder if the author is seeing the world more through stereotypes than reality. And is masking really such great thing, even if it were reality?

  2. Perhaps. Or maybe she sees it through the eyes of an autistic woman. She is certainly against masking as a concept autistic women and I agree with that point. In many ways I think that claiming that women put on masks more than men is just another patriarchy thing.
